Is DooDahDiner the Best Food In Wichita? Plus 95.9 KSUN’s ICTConnect

peopledooidahShot on location at the DooDahDiner here in Wichita, KS. We visit with the owners of DooDah and then talk to a couple of lovely young ladies from KSun.
DooDahDiner open now for 3 years, started, because head chef Patrick, needed a job. He says it was easier to start his own restaurant than to find a job where they would pay him what his experience and skills was worth.

The location is at Kellogg and Broadway in downtown Wichita, KS in the old Tandy Leather location.

What makes the DooDahDiner so special? Well, after eating there twice, I can tell you from experience, it’s about the atmosphere as much as the food.

However, the food is above and beyond. Owner, Patrick, starts his day around 2:30am every day to make the menu from scratch. His wife, Timiry explains during the show why scratch is more expensive sometimes, but is so very worth it!
Timiry also shares how the restaurant got its name and why it’s been such a community built business.

There’s so much more to this episode, but you’ll have to listen for yourself to catch it all.

4279904_origDuring the last segment, our new friends from 95.9 KSUN join us to tell us about the new radio station which is completely community based started by Sunflower Community Action.
